VMWare Engineer (DV Cleared)

We are seeking a highly experienced VMWare Engineer with active DV clearance for a contract role. This position requires a subject matter expert capable of identifying areas for improvement within a complex virtual infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency and a detail-oriented approach to optimizing VMWare environments.

£400-£500/day Outside

Initial 6 months - extensions likely

On-site in Wiltshire

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of VMWare infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and configuration issues.
• Analyze existing systems to detect areas for improvement and enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust virtual solutions.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met.

Requirements:

• Active DV clearance (mandatory).
• Extensive experience with VMWare technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to detecting and resolving issues.
• Demonstrated expertise in virtualization and cloud environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
