Software Engineer Permanent £40000-£45,000 + excellent benefits. The role; There’s loads of variety here, but in a nutshell, you’ll: Architect and develop new features that reshape how organisations manage change Build robust infrastructure to support our cloud-based platforms Collaborate closely with team members through meaningful code reviews Translate complex user requirements into elegant technical solutions Contribute to our agile process, from planning to deployment We’d love to meet someone who: Has 2+ years’ experience in software development and wants to keep learning Excels in our tech stack: React, GraphQL, Node.js, and PostgreSQL Is comfortable with AWS and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Embraces test-driven development and writing maintainable, scalable code Thrives in an Agile, DevOps environment Communicates clearly and isn't afraid to ask questions or share opinions Most importantly: Genuinely cares about the impact of their work and is driven to contribute beyond just writing code Where: HYBRID - mostly WFH, occasional requirement to be in Edinburgh City Centre office Salary: up to £45K Benefits 4-day work week (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri) Flexible hybrid working 25 days’ holiday + 8 public holidays Private healthcare and life assurance 5% employer pension contribution A team that values your input and supports your growth
