Apple Recruitment are recruiting for a ICT Security Project Manager on behalf of the Northern Health and Social Care Trust Job Purpose: The post holder will be responsible for overseeing and managing both the Network and Information Systems team and ICT projects to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, delivering key elements of the Trust’s ICT strategy, and supporting the implementation of the Regional eHealth Programme. This involves close collaboration with various service leads, internal and external stakeholders, and managing both staff and resources effectively. Job Description: Network and Information Systems Management * Act as the NIS Lead to ensure compliance with the NIS Regulations 2018. * Monitor and complete the annual self-assessment against the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). * Lead the preparation of CAF returns and action plans post verification audits. * Recommend enforcement actions to address compliance gaps. * Prepare for and manage verification audits by the competent authority. * Log and assess reported incidents under the NIS Regulations. * Ensure continued application of NIS principles as an Operator of Essential Services. * Provide guidance and advice on NIS Regulations to service leads. * Liaise with the Assistant Director (ICT) for regulatory compliance. ICT Project Management * Produce comprehensive and viable project plans, including re-planning if necessary. * Undertake Option Appraisals and prepare Business Cases as per Trust and DoH standards. * Develop and implement Communication Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement Plans. * Lead business analysis processes and support service requirements documentation. * Develop Benefits Realisation Plans and conduct post-implementation analysis. * Research and lead the evaluation and selection of new technology solutions. * Manage procurement activities including specification, contract negotiation, and acceptance testing. * Manage project budgets and approve invoices. * Coordinate and lead teams through project implementation to optimize system use. * Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans. * Manage projects using PRINCE2 methodology and ensure project governance. * Peer review other projects and develop policies for continual quality improvement. * Ensure integration across services and programmes. PLUS 3 years’ experience of working on ICT projects[2] OR b) HND or a recognised equivalent professional qualification in an ICT discipline1. PLUS 4 years’ experience of working on ICT projects2. OR c) 6 years’ experience of working on ICT projects2. In addition to a) or b) or c) applicants must have: 2. 2 years’ practical experience of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. PLUS Current PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification or prepared to obtain with 6 months of appointment. 3. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post. The following additional clarification is provided: [1] A joint qualification in an ICT discipline with another subject is acceptable, provided the candidate demonstrates on the Application Form that the ICT component constitutes at least half of the qualification.
