CAD Designer

We are currently undertaking some work for a client of ours where there is an opening for a CAD Designer.

The job specification is summarised as follows:

1. Contract

a. Duration: 6 Months (minimum)

b. Start Date: Immediate

c. Location: West Yorkshire

d. Hours 38 hours/ Week

2. Candidate

a. Mechanical engineering biased:

i. Pipework design

ii. Steelwork design

iii. Process plant unit operations; pumps, reactors, condensers, agitators, storage tanks, etc.

b. Ideally with some Project Engineering skills/ experience.

c. Good communicator; Management, Operators & Sub-Contractor levels.

d. Organised; The role requires a high degree of 'self-management'.

e. IT Proficiencies:

i. AutoCad - Essential

ii. AutoCad Plant 3D - Ideal

iii. MS Office; Word, Excel, etc.

f. Appreciation of:

i. H+S at work.

ii. CDM regulations.

3. Role

a. Split location:

i. 20% to 40% Manrochem Office: Brighouse

ii. 80% to 60% Sites: West & East Yorkshire.

b. CAD designer - Mechanical engineering biased

c. Report directly to Manrochem Project Manager

d. Client and sub-contractor facing.
