Group Head of Software £80,000 to £90,000 plus Exec Benefits Package Leicestershire, East Midlands Background: Blues Point is recruiting for a growing technology company with significant UK and European growth. Reporting to the CTO, this role offers opportunities for innovation, professional development, and career advancement. About the Role: We seek a dynamic Group Head of Software to support our client's cloud-based platform, involving collaboration across the organization with occasional travel. Key Responsibilities: •Ensure the platform scales efficiently. •Deliver projects on-time and to spec. •Maintain a customer-centric approach, delivering competitive functionalities. • Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Project Management teams. About You: Experienced leader with 3+ years in software development management, strong technical background, and customer-centric mindset. Key Qualifications: •Strong technical skills, knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Vue. •3+ years leadership in similar roles. •Familiarity with Jira. •Proven ability to scale systems rapidly. •Degree in computer science preferred. Strategic Objectives: •Set software delivery strategy, align departmental culture, and plan future working methods. Tactical Objectives: •Ensure software project delivery, guide engineers, and manage dependencies. •Manage product roadmap and support new functional designs. •Ensure best practices in design, cybersecurity, and deployment. • Provide coaching and career guidance.
