WeDoData are working exclusively with a growing multi academy trust in Kent who have recently taking on a new secondary school, bringing their total to 8 schools. The trust are now looking for a Senior IT Technician to take ownership of their new schools IT, with day to day to day IT support to end users including staff and students. The Role Working on site in a Microsoft environment, you will take ownership of this secondary schools IT function to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all technology, managing the service desk and ensuring tickets are resolved and closed in a timely manor. The trust has a central IT team to support you, and you will also support them with projects throughout the trust where necessary. The school is Microsoft based and you will be required to manage all aspects of the Microsoft 365 system including admin console. Requirements Previous experience working in IT within a school or college is highly desirable as the environment and nature of the role can be quite different to other sectors. * Strong Microsoft experience is essential including Office 365 administration & Microsoft 365 console * Knowledge of Microsoft cloud based products (Sharepoint/EntraID etc) * 1st & 2nd line support experience in a school environment or similar * Network management knowledge - CompTIA A+ certified or equivalent In Return The role offers a competitive salary or £33,945 - £38,223 and an excellent scope for career progression, being a growing MAT.
