Network & Security Engineer - Cisco

Networks and Security Engineer - Cisco £367 a day (inside IR35) - 6 month contract (likely to be extended) Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office We're looking for a Networks and Security Engineer who has core experience of working on networking technologies including exposure to public cloud. Responsibilities: Support the Product Owner in constructing a backlog (user stories/technical requirements) Work with Agile Delivery Lead in providing proper estimation of work and help in delivering the work in a timely manner Be an integral part of the squad and act as the go to person for networking requirements Consume and understand technical requirements and contribute to / challenge the design before executing any work Document the work being executed and provide handover to BAU team for day to day operations Collaborate with engineers, testers, and other team members for migration work, DR tests etc including working out of hours where applicable Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, both verbally and in writingSkills / Experience Needed Cisco Nexus Switches (7k , 9k) , Cisco Routers (ASR and ISR series) Cisco ACI including VMM integration , ESGs etc Routing protocols - BGP , OSPF Recent Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls experience working on latest versions including in azure Ability to configure VPNs on Palo and Checkpoint firewall F5 (LTM / DNS / ASM) and Netscaler ADC Infoblox DDI and Azure DNSThis role could be based either in London, Colchester or York To apply for this role please email across your CV ASAP
