Deployment Manager

Length:12 months

Location: Hybrid - 3 days on site in Marble Arch

Salary: £90,000 to £100,000 per annum depending on experience

We are actively looking to secure a Deployment Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Job purpose

To develop, maintain and deliver the overall deployment plan for the S4/HANA deployment, co-ordinating with cross functional teams to deliver the deployment activities.

Key accountabilities, responsibilities, and measures

  • Develop and maintain the overall deployment plan: Support a comprehensive plan that outlines all deployment activities, timelines, and resources required.
  • Oversee deployment resources: Allocate and manage the resources needed for successful deployment, including colleagues, technology, and budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the change management, training, cutover, and data teams to ensure alignment and integration of deployment activities.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure that all deployment activities meet the project's quality standards and are in line with policies.
  • Cutover management: Work with the cutover team to plan and execute the transition to the new S4 system.
  • Risk management: Identify potential deployment risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition, align on risks with Change Lead and Cutover Lead.
  • Go-live support: Provide leadership and support during the go-live phase, including troubleshooting and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Post-deployment review: Conduct a post-deployment review to capture lessons learned and best practices for future deployments.
  • Continuous improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to the deployment process based on feedback and performance metrics.

Key skills

  • Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and practices to ensure user adoption and align with the Change Tower
  • Technical acumen: A solid technical background to understand and oversee the technical aspects of the deployment.
  • Cutover strategies: Experience with planning and executing system cutover activities.

Key Experience:

  • Experience working in large, matrixed company/ies.
  • Experience on a previous S4/Hana deployment.
