Location: Reading/Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

The Role
Our partner is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer, with extensive AWS expertise, to join their development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing robust full stack applications and designing, optimising and managing the AWS cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications with a tech stack including TypeScript, Node.js and React.
- Act as the go-to AWS expert, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Architect, deploy and manage serverless AWS infrastructure, using event-driven design for scalability and efficiency.
- Apply IaC practices using AWS CDK to automate infrastructure management.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery and security compliance for cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and provide impactful solutions.
- Provide mentorship to the team where relevant, championing best practices across DevOps & development.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality output and ensure maintainable, efficient code.
Skills/Experience
- Strong DevOps background with proven experience in infrastructure management.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and architecture, with a focus on serverless and event-driven architecture.
- Proficient in Back End development, particularly with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and EKS for containerisation, orchestration and cluster management.
- Expertise in network administration and AWS security best practices, alongside familiarity with observability tools and monitoring/logging solutions.
- Solid understanding of database systems such as PostgreSQL (RDS), OpenSearch, Redis and DynamoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, in particular using GitHub Actions.
With a salary upto £80k and the opportunity for hybrid work, supporting 2 days/week onsite, this is a permanent opportunity with significant room for growth and advancement.
