SAP BI BW Technical Consultant - Hybrid - Outside IR35

The SAP BI Technical Consultant working within Treasury, Risk & Finance

Support, development/enhancement and testing of Financial Data Repository system, including:

Integration processes with other critical IT systems.

Web services, remote procedure calls, extractor interface jobs required to successfully run overnight FDR batch data loads.

Technical production support of the SAP BI system architecture including UI interfaces and integration methodology.

Data Products erosion support, to allow Legacy tactical functionality to be refactored onto other platforms.

Skills + Experience

• Previous experience of SAP BI version 7.3 or greater is essential.
• 5 years minimum SAP BI support, configuration & delivery essential.
• 5 years ABAP Objects, Object Oriented programming and ABAP shared memory knowledge essential.
• 5 years SAP HANA studio, SAP HANA SQL and HANA CDS
• Remote RPC/BAPI, XML processing, SOAP over HTTP and firm understanding of SOA essential.
• Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL) and enterprise Datamodelling essential.
• Knowledge with non-SAP sources/extractors for SAP BI required.
• Knowledge and understanding of ETL principles and enterprise data-warehousing required.
• Knowledge of WebDynpro interface development an advantage.
• Previous experience with S/4 HANA and BW/4 HANA (on-premise or cloud) an advantage.
• Previous experience with SAP Analytics Cloud reporting and planning an advantage.
• Previous experience of working in a finance and banking environment an advantage.
• Previous experience with Python, Java or other programming languages using Object Oriented principles an advantage.
