AV Designer

Role: Senior AV Designer - £55K Location: London Salary: £55k (DoE) + Amazing Benefits! About Us: We are a rapidly expanding organization, and due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced AV Designer to join our dynamic team. Role Overview: You'll be in charge of the AV Design for several exciting projects we have coming up! The role will focus on installed AV systems and requires a strong understanding of ICT and control systems commonly used in AV installations. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Hospitality, Residential, Office Fitout, Refurbishment, or Relocation projects and be familiar with RIBA work stages. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Engage with clients and consultant teams to establish AV and IT briefs and technology requirements. Provide input into technology strategy and concept documents. Design and specify AV systems, including written specifications, budgets, schematics, and pricing schedules. Coordinate and manage the competitive procurement process. Provide M&E, architectural, and IT information to the professional team on AV designs. Project manage contractors through delivery phases, including design approvals, site inspections, commissioning, acceptance, and handover to clients. Oversee contractor off-site testing and AV system programming. Assist in developing QA processes for managing the implementation phases of AV and IT projects.Desirable Skills: Experience in designing AV systems for meeting rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, auditoriums, public address systems, video and audio conferencing, digital signage, and public information systems. Television Distribution (Satellite, Cable, Terrestrial) Intermediate level skills in AutoCAD 20xx. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
