FPGA Engineer - Quantum Technology

Stott and May are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled FPGA engineer to help advance next-generation technology.

As an FPGA Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing state-of-the-art quantum hardware, from initial proof-of-concept to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the full product development life cycle from concept to production.
Convert system requirements into FPGA implementations, including RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog).
Design FPGA systems for various applications such as signal processing and data acquisition.
Develop communication protocols (Ethernet, PCI, USB, UART, SPI, I2C) to interface with external systems.
Build and test simulations to ensure design functionality and optimize performance.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience designing and debugging interfaces.
Proficiency in signal processing, optimization, and HDL coding (VHDL, Verilog).
Experience with FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado, Vitis)
Familiarity with tools like JTAG and logic analyzers.
Competency in Embedded software development (C/C++) and simulation tools (QuestaSim, ModelSim).
