Infrastructure Engineer // Peterborough - Hybrid - £50K Our client is looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to their vibrant IT team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, this individual will be crucial in keeping the IT infrastructure running smoothly. They'll tackle various IT challenges, manage projects, and help guide team members. If you have a passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow, this could be the perfect fit! Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve a range of IT issues efficiently. Work closely with team members to ensure projects run seamlessly. Manage projects by delegating tasks and supporting the team. Implement and maintain effective data protection measures, including firewalls and anti-virus solutions. Build, repair, and install hardware when needed.Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry. Strong expertise in Linux. Good networking skills, including experience with routers, switches, and IP management. Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware. Proficient in Windows OS and Windows Server environments.
