Strategic Sales Executive Are you a high performing Sales Executive with a proactive hunter mentality? Does the idea of driving your own success and unlocking unlimited opportunities excite you? With huge growth plans our Strategic Accounts team is expanding, and we need you! We are looking for top-tier salespeople to be the driving force in growing our trade base through lead generation and targeted sales activity. If new business development is your forte, you love the hunter element of sales and have a proven track record achieving (overachieving!) on revenue goals, we’d love to hear from you! Do you want to be top of the leaderboard whilst earning yourself a decent amount of commission? If so, this is the role for you! Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies, 4 days in the office. Where do you fit in? You will play a crucial role in driving the company's revenue growth by acquiring new medium - large trade businesses. You will be responsible for identifying high-potential leads, engaging with prospective clients, and navigating the entire sales process end-to-end. You will be building proposals that address client specific needs, negotiating contract terms and ensuring a smooth transition to the onboarding team. By leveraging data-driven insights, strategic outreach, and effective pipeline management, you will contribute to the overall market penetration and competitive positioning of Checkatrade. You will be highly proactive, results-oriented with the ability to build strong client connections, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and consistently achieve targets! What do you need to succeed? * A hunter mentality with a proven track record in finding new business. Proficient in sales techniques, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing. * Resilience is key, having the ability to objection handle and stay motivated in a perfromance driven sales environment. * Strong communication skills to be able to build strong, trusting relationships with trades people and internal teams. * The ability to analyse sales data and generate actionable insights. Be able to keep your sales pipeline organised, track progress, and ensure accurate reporting for future forecasts
