Senior IT & Network Support, Watford, Advanced Network Skills

Senior IT Network Engineer is required to join a leading manufacturing Company based near Watford and paying up to £60k. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in assisting their users based in the London office and responsible for numerous aspects of IT Infrastructure, advanced troubleshooting, hardware/software, exceptional network experience as well as managerial duties across various other departments. The Senior IT Network Engineer will have experience of managing a small team previously and will need to hit the ground running, you will be required to help ensure the team can deliver the excellent user support they are known for. Having confidence within your skills are paramount in this position as well as being security cautious. Essential Skills and Knowledge: Windows Servers Windows firewalls (mostly Windows 10) Endpoint Security eg SentinelOne WindowsServers (Windows Server 2016,2019, 2022, Exchange Server 2016, SQL Server) Hyper V Server hardening for all of above Sonicwall firewalls Network security, VLANs, switching, routing Telecoms (phone providers, ISPs etc.) Linux (limited) Disaster recovery/archiving/backups Experience of liaising with 3rd party vendors Solid Understanding of Excel SQL database queryingShould you feel that you match the above requirements, APPLY NOW
