M&E Team Leader - Hertfordshire, England - facilities Management - £50,000 DOE This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK at one of their prestigious client's sites based In Hertfordshire. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Location: Hertfordshire, England Salary: £50,000 DOE Role Responsibilities: To oversee the daily operations of the technical team (including sub-contractors) To manage and monitor legal compliant inspections and preventative planned maintenance programmes. Preparation of annual PPM and statutory compliance programme of works Processing test certificates, Plan, schedule and monitor inspection and testing programmes Support the Management Team with the mandatory compliance and statutory legislation relating to the building infrastructure Carry out risk assessments for buildings, grounds and specialist areas, engaging contractors where necessary (including asbestos) Annually review team to identify training needs and performance management The Ideal Candidate: Minimum of HNC/HND in Engineering or time served technical apprenticeship If electrically biased,18th Edition, C&G 2391 (or equiv) Inspection and Test. If Mechanical, FGas, AHU/Ventilation experience desirable Engineering experience, ideally in a supervisory role Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track Health and Safety qualification (ideally IOSH MS) If you are interested in this position, please contact Laurie on (phone number removed) to discuss this role.
