Product Engineer

IC Resources is currently looking for a Product Engineer on a contract basis who will play a key role in the development and lifecycle management of ARM microcontroller-based and analog ASIC products.

This position is integral to managing the release of products through the complete lifecycle, from prototype to production, working closely with cross-functional teams globally. The role involves developing test plans, analysing data, performing failure analysis, and driving yield improvements with manufacturing partners.

Product Test Engineer - 6 Month Contract Location - Edinburgh Key Responsibilities:

• Lifecycle Management: Oversee product release from design through production, ensuring specification compliance.
• Testing & Analysis: Develop and execute test plans, analyse data using statistical methods, and identify root causes for failures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams across design, testing, manufacturing, and customer support to resolve issues and ensure smooth production.
• Reliability & Qualification: Manage product reliability and ensure compliance with JEDEC and AEC-Q100 standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years in semiconductor product engineering.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ARM microcontrollers, analog ASICs, production testing, and statistical tools (Excel, JMP).
  • Location: Ability to work onsite in Edinburgh, Scotland, 2-3 days per week.
