Experienced Substation Site Manager Needed in Tilbury Introductory Paragraph: Our client, a leading high voltage engineering company, is seeking an experienced substation site manager to oversee the closing out of their latest project at Tilbury. Overview: As our new substation site manager for this contract position located in Tilbury, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of the control building, HDD drilling works and plenty of HV ducting. You'll need strong leadership skills as you supervise subcontractors while ensuring that health & safety guidelines are adhered to throughout every phase of construction. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations on-site - Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. - Oversee quality assurance/ quality control procedures - Coordinate closely with clients regarding schedule updates or changes Qualifications Required: To qualify for consideration as our next Substation Site Manager we require someone who has experience managing similar projects from start-up through close-out phases successfully. Additionally, candidates must possess good communication skills both written/ oral; excellent people management abilities coupled up by solid financial acumen necessary when dealing budgets related matters during construction processes. - SMSTS is required - National Grid site however Grid tickets not required Skills Desired (from Tags Section): We're looking specifically for individuals who have previously worked within High Voltage Engineering sector preferably having demonstrable knowledge about Control Building/ HDD Drilling Works Management along other relevant areas such as Project Planning/ Scheduling techniques which would enable them deliver successful outcomes consistently over timeframes typically associated these types large-scale infrastructure builds whilst staying focused attention details important achieving success here too! Rate/ Pay Structure : The selected candidate can expect highly competitive rates starting at £450 per day. You will be able to work either Ltd/ CIS or Umbrella.
