Azure Security Engineer Remote based. A dynamic and innovative Azure Expert MSP are seeking a highly skilled Azure Security Engineer with a robust understanding of Microsoft's Security suite, including Sentinel and Defender. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general Azure/Microsoft infrastructure, encompassing Azure, DevOps, Entra, and more. This business are experiencing significant growth across the business, although particularly within their Security Division - significant opportunity to progress into other areas such as DevSecOps/Automation, Threat Hunting or Management. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and other security tools. Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts, ensuring the protection of our clients' data and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and best practices. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. Qualifications: Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and other security tools. Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, including Azure AD, Azure DevOps, and Entra. Experience in designing and implementing security solutions in a cloud environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) are a plus. Remote based. Paying up to 60k. Must be eligible to work in the UK, and eligible for SC clearance. On-call rota, 1 in 4 - with an additional £360 for every week on call. (£4320 total per annum)
