Systems Analyst

Job Title: Systems Analyst Location: Remote working (Client based in Nottingham, some onsite presence required) Contract: Inside IR35. Full time, Monday to Friday for 3 months The role of Systems Analyst Our client, who is an education provider based in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to integrate a new SaaS-based system (which will serve as a research repository) with their existing research information management system. This is a full-time role for an initial period of 3 months. Most of the work will be remote, but onsite presence will be necessary for workshops and important meetings. About You The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of a broad spectrum of IT systems, software, and project life cycles. They should also have a good grasp of analysing business process requirements and envisioning their practical system implementation. Success in this role requires excellent organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience required: As a Systems Analyst, you will be experienced in: Analysis of large corporate IT applications in a complex business environment Managing complex data and process task flows. Integrating systems Development and maintenance of key system documentation Customer service experience in a high-pressure IT service delivery environment Working within a project-lifecycle focused environment The production of detailed integrated specificationsSkills required: Excellent documentation skills Problem identification and solving Strong data and system analysis skills Great team player in fixed and temporary/dynamic teams Excellent negotiation skills, relationship building, and a key influencer with the ability to communicate at all levelsKnowledge required: Analysing business process needs and visualising their practical system implementation Demonstrable knowledge of relational databases Change management and service transition SQL, XMI & API We aim to respond to all applicants within 5 days - to avoid missing out please apply today
