As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the charity’s approach to governance, working alongside dedicated professionals to create a safe and supportive environment for all. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for information governance and regulatory compliance across the organisation, ensuring legal and statutory obligations are met. Data Protection: As the charity’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), you will oversee GDPR compliance, liaising with external bodies and ensuring robust data protection policies are in place. Risk Management: Lead efforts to manage organisational risk, including health and safety, information governance, and regulatory frameworks, ensuring continuous improvement in quality and compliance. External Relations: Act as a brand ambassador and maintain relationships with key regulatory bodies, representing the charity at local, regional, and national levels. Transformation & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in governance, implementing systems and processes that support high performance and mitigate risk across the organisation.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in developing governance, risk management, and information strategies in complex organisations. Strong knowledge of GDPR, information security, and regulatory requirements in social care. Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels. Certification in governance, information management, or relevant qualifications (e.g., CISSP or C-DPO) is highly desirable.Why Join Us?
