Senior Cisco UCS and Virtualisation Engineer - VMWare - Automation (Powershell, Ansible)

Permanent.* Hybrid working 2/3 days

Global financial services client is looking for a Senior Cisco UCS and Virtualisation Engineer to join their team. You will be a senior member of the IT Infrastructure team and have deep technical expertise in Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) and a comprehensive understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, and OpenShift. The role requires someone proactive with strong problem-solving skills, extensive experience in Scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, and the ability to lead complex projects.

Skills and experience required:

  • Expert knowledge of Cisco UCS architecture, components, and management tools.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, RedHat Virtualization, and OpenShift.
  • Automation and Scripting tools such as PoweShell, Ansible and Terraform.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, including Servers, networking, and storage.
