Cyber Security Network Engineer Milton Keynes Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits As a Cyber Security Network Engineer, you are part of a diverse and highly skilled Managed Services team within a leading internationally advanced technology solution provider, working with varied customers in a diverse number of sectors. The role is hybrid based with additional and occasional travel to another office, customer sites and data centres and principally supporting a 24/7 availability service of Cyber Security Services across the client base. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be part of the Cyber Operations and Delivery team (within the Cyber Security department). You will be required to have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualisation, networking, and applications. A solid understanding of IT Security principles (E.g., system hardening, least privilege, segregation etc) is also key. Required skills and experience: Familiar with network such as routing/firewalling/bridge/NAT etc, including being able to describe the difference between Layer 2/3 and Layer 7.
