Job Title: Project Control Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £40,748 + dependant on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing intermediate project reporting & Governance
  • Undertaking intermediate problem solving typically based on previous experience
  • Attending on the job training as appropriate
  • Leading the PM&C processes on small non-complex projects or a work package of a larger project
  • Managing and analysing the outcome of the PM&C processes on a full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/ users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
  • Consolidating and analysing expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
  • Supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Background in project controls and project management
    • Good understanding of all project controls disciplines
    • Ability to analyse data
    • Excellent stakeholder management

      Desirable:

      • Member of the APM or working towards APM Accreditation
      • Defence background

        The SSNA Reporting & Governance team:

        The team are responsible for establishing all governance arrangements for the SSNA Programme. This position is extremely diverse, providing exposure across all programmes. You'll have opportunity for growth and development within a multibillion-pound long term complex programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
