Solutions Engineer/Solutions Analyst
Location: Wimbledon ( Hybrid 3 Days a Week)
Salary: Up to £45k + Additional Corporate Benefits Package
Role: You will be a developing skilled, and forward-thinking Solutions Analyst/Application Support Analyst who will play a key role in the implementation, customisation, and support of a portfolio of 3rd party application technologies that are core to the success of our Finance and Operations teams
Key responsibilities:
- Working with colleagues in Technology, support the identification and analysis of complex business requirements, collaborating closely with senior business stakeholders in Finance and Operations
- Support the design of strategic technology solutions to address evolving business needs.
- Create detailed technical specifications for innovative FSM, PSO and X3 features and enhancements. These will include workflows, business rules, user interfaces, reports, and integration points.
Professional Requirements
- 1 to 3 years proven experience working as an Analyst in technology development.
- An understanding of software development principles, database management, and integration technologies related to IFS applications.
- Good SQL knowledge with T-SQL experience. Good understanding of XML, JSON and other serialisation formats. Familiarity with Scripting languages like JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Good analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and translating business needs into strategic technical initiatives.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders.
Competencies:
- Effective communication of technical concepts, system changes, and project updates to the Finance and Operations business teams and other technical audiences
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and assisting with queries that cannot be resolved by the IT Help Desk.
- Develop user documentation and conduct training sessions to promote efficient system utilisation and user adoption.
